Amy

After suffering the loss of her daughter Briar and meeting Empty Arms in 2017, Amy became passionate about giving back to our organization.

While her professional background is in teaching and business, her own loss has brought her to serving Empty Arms families. 

Amy began as a bereavement companion in 2020, supporting families in-hospital. She now proudly serves as our Executive Director and is passionate about deepening Empty Arms’ connection to our community and spreading awareness of our cause.

Amy resides in Warman, SK with her husband Steve and their children, where she continues to balance teaching and her duties with Empty Arms.
