Being a health professional, Lacey is an integral part of the care that families experiencing perinatal loss receive through the Health Authority.

The year 2014 marked a significant shift in her life as she faced the heart-wrenching experience of a missed miscarriage at nine weeks, followed by the loss of her daughter at 19 weeks gestation. Faced with her own profound losses, she sought support beyond the confines of the medical realm, leading her to connect with Empty Arms for support.

The organization's exceptional level of support resonated with Lacey on both a deeply personal and professional level. It was a heartfelt honor for her when she was invited to volunteer on the board, and now sits as the President of the Board. Lacey takes immense pride in being part of Empty Arms' mission to enhance the quality of care provided to grieving families.
